On behalf of the staff, pupils and governors, I would like to wish you a warm welcome to Burley and Woodhead C of E Primary School. Please take some time to browse our website – we hope you find it informative and that it gives you a little insight into life at our lovely school.

Situated in the heart of Wharfedale, our aim is to make our children feel safe and happy so that they can achieve in an environment where they feel secure enough to take risks with their learning and be the best version of themselves they can possibly be. Our bespoke curriculum, based around the 7 Burley Woodhead Mes, encourages the holistic development and well-being of all our children; fostering resilient, confident, independent, creative learners with a kindness for the world in which they live and all those who share it.
