Letting the School Know

Illness:

If your child is ill, please let the school office know by 9:00am on the first day of absence, by phone or email and let us know how they are poorly. 
If your child has sickness or diarrhoea, you must keep them away from school for 48 hours after the last episode of illness in order to help prevent any viruses spreading.
After one day of absence we will assume (s)he continues to be absent for the same reason on any subsequent day.

Changes to Collection:

If your child is going home with someone else, please email the class teacher or school office at least 24 hours in advance. Please telephone if under 24 hours. If you collect your child, please inform the school if your know you are going to be delayed.

Changes in Circumstances:

If there are any changes in home circumstances which might affect your child at school, please let us know so that we can keep a careful eye on them. We will, of course, treat any such information with sensitivity.

Medical Conditions:

If your child has any medical condition which may affect them in school, for example asthma or allergies, please let us know. Parents/carers must complete  an online authorisation form before any medicine can be given or stored in school. We are able to administer non prescription medicine such as Calpol, as long as the online administration of medicine form has been completed. All medicines must be handed in to the school office, not remain with the pupil.
