Dog Mentors

At Burley and Woodhead Primary, we have worked with the national training programme, The Dog Mentor, to train our dog mentors - Florrie and Winnie.

The Dog Mentor Programme builds on the benefits of human-animal bonds by providing children with positive experiences with dogs that can help them educationally, developmentally, emotionally and socially.
