PE and Sport Premium

Burley and Woodhead Primary is committed to supporting children and young people to live healthy active lives; our Healthy Me curriculum lays the foundations of positive and enjoyable participation in regular physical activity, and an awareness of Mental Health and Wellbeing.

In school we ensure that pupils have access to physical activity during the school day, alongside high-quality PE provision taught by confident and knowledgeable teachers. as well as opportunities to experience and participate in a wide range of sports and physical activities.

School receives annual PE and sport premium grant funding which helps school achieve additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of the PE, sport and physical activity we provide.
