Part Time Teacher, 1 September 2025 - 31 August 2026
Burley and Woodhead is an outstanding school in the beautiful Wharfe Valley. Easily accessible by road and train, we are a one form entry primary with extensive grounds and great facilities for pupils and staff alike.
As part of our work to enhance and develop our creative curriculum we are seeking a part time (0.6) classed based teacher to work in partnership with our current Key Stage Two teaching team. As one of 34 DfE appointed English Hubs across England, we are at the forefront of delivering reading pedagogy across Bradford and North Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative, forward-thinking, friendly school. Judged ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted we are committed to providing every child with the skills, knowledge and growth mindset to thrive and take on the world.
We are looking for experienced teachers who are excellent classroom practitioners with a passion for teaching and learning across the primary age range.
You will be:
- Self reflective and willing to take on new ideas and approaches to teaching
- Supportive of the values of a Church of England primary school
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Have high expectations of both yourself and the children you teach
